I did this a while back, but the lines were originally on some vellum and I didn't like that much. Not sure what else to do with it, so I think I'll just leave it.

I'm selling some stuff at a little art festival later this month. This'll probably be included. Hopefully I'll make a little money.

I like how the trunk looks like viens among blood (Which is the leaves) But that's probably just my interpretation of it.

Either way it's very pretty and very well done.

I actually thought the branches looked kind of like veins when I was painting them... it's sort of what inspired the name. Veins=venous=venus. Thanks for catching that! :D And thanks for the comment!

Awwww! If I saw this painting at a little art festival, I would totally buy it. So cute and simple. I love how everything fades out from the heart (center?) of the branches.
